Of course, no event would be complete without snacks! There were a variety of different selections including; pizza, sandwiches, wings, and even homemade desserts! Students had the chance to complete an Experiential learning and internship survey to help the department to create even more opportunities for students to get involved with!
Dr. Smyth explained that there will be many opportunities in the future for students to take part in. For example, students can take advantage of a semester abroad in Liverpool. A semester abroad is a wonderful opportunity to experience the English major in a different setting and also surround yourself with a different culture.
Overall, the event was a great success! It will be exciting to see what next semester has to offer!
